Well Man/Woman Check
We feel that prevention is better than cure and a well man/woman check allows our doctors to give you a full "MOT". They will examine you from top to toe, including examination of heart, lungs, abdomen along with height/weight/BMI, pulse and blood pressure.
For men, the check will include prostate examination and if appropriate, a blood test for prostate problems. For women, you will be offered breast and pelvic examinations with a smear test if indicated.
It is important that the check is tailored to the indvidual, and we hope to be able to identify any current or potential problems or concerns and manage these in a way to suit you. Should it be felt to be of benefit we will be able to arrange appropriate blood tests/ECGs/X-Rays or other further specialist investigations or referral.
